Top 10 Frequently Asked Support Questions

What version of MANAGEMENT Plus™ am I using?
Open MANAGEMENT Plus™, click on Help (it is on the upper right of the toolbar), and click on About MPW. The version number will be in the center of the window that opens.

What is my TRACS Mail ID?
Call the TRACS Hotline, 800-767-7588, and they will be happy to provide the TRACS Mail ID information.

Where is my company data stored?
The actual path to your data can be found by looking at the "Select Company" screen. To access this screen, click File | Open Company. Find the company name you are looking for, and scroll to the right. You will see the path that is used for each company under the "Location" column header.

How can I tell which backup is the most recent?
MANAGEMENT Plus™ backups are named using a date and time stamp. If today is May 16, 2003 and a backup is created at 12:57 and 08 seconds PM, the file that is created will be named: 20030516-125708PM.ZIP. The first four digits, 2003, are the year that backup was made. The next two digits, 05, are the month - May, and the next two digits, 16, are the day. After the dash "-", the last six numbers are the time of the day that the backup was made, 12:57:08 PM. Hour is the first two digits, minutes are the next two digits, seconds are the last two digits, and the last two letters are AM or PM.

Why are tenants listed in red on my lease tenant list?
The tenants that are listed in red on the Lease/Tenant List have been moved out, and their Lease End Date is in the past.

Why does no one show up when I add cash receipts?
In the Cash Receipt Entry - Add Mode window, click on Search Options and make sure that the status of the tenant that you wish to add a receipt for is check marked. Check mark Past, Present, and Future if you wish to see all tenants regardless of status.

How do I get registration keys?
If you have any registration key questions or need to request more keys, please send an email to: registration@acsoftware.com.

Can I transfer a tenant into a different apartment?
Yes. From the Lease/Tenant list, highlight the tenant and then click on Actions - Transfer Lease.
